One of the busiest arterial routes through Douglas town centre, recorded traffic passing the site has been in excess of 5,500 vehicles each day out of the town. Plus the capital’s main Bus Terminal on Lord Street departs the main terminal and passes by the Banner, driving west towards Peel Road or by using the filter lane on Lord Street immediately past the sign.
Traffic is often waiting to pass before turning right into Ridgeway Street, increasing the dwell time significantly at this location.
